LPGA GOLF 101 is an Intro to Golf Program – taught by LPGA coach Ashley Tait the program follows the overall student-centered LPGA Integrated Performance System to guide you through a comprehensive “Welcome to Golf” 6-module program for new or relatively new female golfers.

You will take your first step in your journey to learn, play and enjoy the game of golf. Your LPGA Professional will provide you with a base of knowledge, golf skills and most importantly the confidence required to get on course.

GIRL POWER is for Intermediate Golfers and is a six-week class taught by Ashley Tait that focuses on mobility and balance while using extra ‘lever systems’ to get more distance out of your swing.

Each class includes a GOLFFOREVER warm-up and speed stick drills – physically preparing you for faster speeds while preventing injury.  We’ll also track your progress using Trackman data, focusing on three key power numbers – total distance, club head speed and attack angle.  This class is offered at a low price of $575, and is designed for intermediate golfers looking to learn more about the golf swing and who are ready to take their game to the next level!

LADIES SHORT GAME Clinic is for any skill level looking to improve their shots around the green!  If you struggle with a particular shot around the green, whether is a delicate chip, pitching the ball higher so it stops on the green or the dreaded bunker shot, we’ll be sure to address it all in this clinic!

The average female golfer’s handicap is 27.5 and that player averages hitting only 10% of the greens in regulation. That’s not even two per round. That said, yes you’d like to hit more greens but fact is, you’d be better off improving your short game from inside of 50yds as well as your putting. It’s much easier to work on and it will reduce your scores much faster!

SEASON OPENER BOOT CAMP:

The season is upon us!  The grass is turning green and you need to shake off the winter rust!  Time to dive in and ready yourself for the season by getting an overview of each area of your game which will give you a clearer picture of where you need to spend your time and what to work on when you get the chance to practice.   We’ll work on all areas of your game with some great people and have a blast in this 2-day class.

FAMILY CLINICS:

Bring the family and take part in these great clinics where everyone, regardless of skill level, will get individual attention and have a blast together learning this wonderful game which you can create memories that last a lifetime!

Tour player stats show proximity to the hole on approach shots is a difference maker for their play but that’s because they already know how to putt!  For instance, they only 3-putt one time every 36 holes on average.  How often do you 3-putt?  And when it comes to short putts, their make rate of 75% from 5ft and 50% from 8ft is probably much better than yours.  Improving your putting becomes an easy way to lower your scores, so why not grab that low hanging fruit and take part in Jerry’s Putting Clinics.

Experience consistent improved putting with one of our Putting Clinics featuring Jerry Walters. Walters spent 10 years on the PGA Tour as a representative for an international brand of putters and worked with players on all professional tours. He has brought that knowledge and expertise to the Trent Wearner Golf Academy for over 12 years. He will ensure development, refinement or advancement regardless of whatever element(s) of your putting game need improving.

Bogey Free Putting Clinics

Successful putting comes down to two basic ingredients; line and speed of the putt. This new clinic addresses both elements.

During the clinic, we’ll work on the directional elements of your stroke and find the proper position at address for you making it easier to produce a consistent stroke and the ability to start a putt on line. Each student will be working with a Blue Circuit Trainer from EyeLine Golf and will take the training aid home with them at the conclusion of the clinic!

We will also focus on speed control. Most three putts are a result of improper speed/distance control. Learn some fantastic and fun drills to help you gauge better speed control and start watching your scores (and putts) drop!

Cost of the clinic is ONLY $99 per student and includes the EyeLine Golf Groove Mirror.

Join Coach Chris Melendez on Sundays from 10am-12noon all Summer to work on your game! These two-hour clinics are a great opportunity to receive quality small group instruction without having to commit to a long-term weekly program and are ONLY $120. Grab some friends or bring the family!  Think of it as individual coaching in a small group setting.  Each week you’ll experience a variety of segments of the game.  It’s easier to take a number of strokes off of your game by getting a little better in a few areas than it is to get a lot better in one area.  You’ll work on your driver, irons, chipping/pitching, wedge shots, bunker play and putting.  Come for several sessions if you’d like and keep building up your skills.  These classes are open to men and women (and juniors if parents attend), but only four spots are available so sign up quickly!
