Welcome to our Group Programs for Adults.  We offer outstanding clinics for both men and women and with the best coaches in Colorado at Legacy Ridge and Walnut Creek.  You’ll have a blast and see dramatic improvement with our highly experienced PGA and LPGA coaches.  Our clinics are structured in a small group setting and average around four students so you’ll receive the highest quality coaching with more personalized time which is what you would expect from the Trent Wearner Golf Academy.  Think of it as individual coaching in a small group setting.

WHO:  Because we have such small groups it’s perfect for New Golfers or those with a Little Experience.  Think of our programs as private lessons in a small group setting.  This allows you to get the best possible start to learning this game.

While most newer golfer programs around the country are taught by beginner teachers, you won’t find that with us! You deserve a great start to this game and that’s exactly what you’ll receive when you work with our expert coaches in our comfortable, easy-going environment.

Welcome2Golf will take place completely at the practice facility where you’ll have a progression plan each week and you’ll learn easy answers to all the things that will make you feel more comfortable.  If you’re interested in getting on the golf course more then our program called Operation 36 is perfect for you.

Operation 36 is a phenomenal program we offer at Legacy Ridge and Walnut Creek that allows the golfer a measurable and fun way to progress!  The game of golf can often seem intimidating to new golfers but this program breaks down that barrier helping to speed your progression and comfort level.  Unfortunately most newer golfer programs are taught by beginner teachers, but you won’t find that with us!  You deserve a great start to this game and that’s exactly what you’ll receive when you work with our expert coaches in our comfortable, easy-going environment.  

Our OPERATION 36 Program for Adults is a weekly program where you’ll spend time on all areas of the game having a blast and seeing your skills improve PLUS you’ll have additional Play Days where you’ll get on the course trying to shoot a score of 36 for 9-holes from yardages starting at 25yds and then after successfully completing 9-holes from 25 yards, progressing further back to 50, then 100, then 150 and finally 200.  Along the way you’ll improve your technique, understand some basic rules and etiquette, learn some golf lingo but most importantly, be on your way to becoming a golfer for life!

Chip & Sip for Ladies is a casual, fun short game specific clinic.  End your week with the Friday clinic by bringing your friends to this professionally coached program by PGA Member Maggie Hartman.  We all want to hit it better, but the low hanging fruit to getting better and lowering your scores is in the short game and putting – it’s a faster way to improve.  Beverages provided!

Custom Fitting and Wedge Clinic! Golfers will learn how to control trajectory and spin around the greens. Students will learn multiple techniques for green side scenarios and have a wedge custom fit to their swing. Nothing is better than feeling confident around the greens! Clinic includes a brand-new wedge as part of the price.

Join Coach Erin Diegel, on Fridays this summer to work on your game!  Whether you need better ball striking, more consistent distances, improved short game, shots that travel farther or just want to meet other women to play with, this clinic is perfect for you.  In this 3-hour clinic, you’ll enhance your understanding of your full swing (why your golf ball does what it does and what to do to make it better), short game techniques and processes, golf course management, and how to practice.  You will leave with a personalized plan for both full swing and short game, notes, videos, a TWGA Instruction Manual, and other goodies.  Class is limited to only 4 students and is for adults or mature juniors.  Bring some friends and have an outstanding time learning together!  Cost is $225 per person with a class minimum of two.

Whether you need to correct the curvature of your shots, gain some valuable distance, or become more consistent this Full Swing Clinic is perfect for you.

Tour player stats show proximity to the hole on approach shots is a difference maker for their play but that’s because they already know how to putt!  For instance, they only 3-putt one time every 36 holes on average.  How often do you 3-putt?  And when it comes to short putts, their make rate of 75% from 5ft and 50% from 8ft is probably much better than yours.  Improving your putting becomes an easy way to lower your scores, so why not grab that low hanging fruit and take part in Jerry’s More Birdies Less Bogeys Putting Clinic.

Experience consistent improved putting with one of our More Birdies, Less Bogeys Putting Clinics featuring Jerry Walters. Walters spent 10 years on the PGA Tour as a representative for an international brand of putters and worked with players on all professional tours. He has brought that knowledge and expertise to the Trent Wearner Golf Academy for over 10 years. He will ensure development, refinement or advancement regardless of whatever element(s) of your putting game need improving.

More Birdies, Less Bogeys Putting Clinics

Successful putting comes down to two basic ingredients; line and speed of the putt. This new clinic addresses both elements.

In the first hour of the clinic, we’ll work on the directional elements of your stroke and find the proper position at address for you making it easier to produce a consistent stroke and the ability to start a putt on line. Each student will be working with a Groove Mirror from EyeLine Golf and will take the training aid home with them at the conclusion of the clinic.

The second hour will focus on speed control. Most three putts are a result of improper speed/distance control. Learn some fantastic and fun drills to help you gauge better speed control and start watching your scores (and putts) drop!

Cost of the clinic is $199 per student and includes the EyeLine Golf Groove Mirror.

We are open for Private Lessons all winter if the weather permits BUT we also have the ability to use the Golf Life Indoor Center near US36 and Wadsworth for Private Lessons.

 

Spend a completely customized Half Day or Full Day with Trent Wearner in a one-on-one setting.

Begin by receiving and returning our comprehensive questionnaire well in advance of your private golf school.

Based on the weakest areas of your game, Trent will devise a customized program for the day.  During your day with Trent any of our state-of-the-art technologies including our Foresight Sports GC Quad, Trackman or FlightScope X3 launch monitors, Science And Motion (SAM) Putt Lab, Bodi-Trak pressure mat, Hackmotion and/or SportsBox AI Biomechanics software can be utilized to enhance your learning experience.

Taking your game onto the course with Trent can also be part of this program.  Spend time on the course honing your on-course play and understanding, shot by shot, the elements you need to take into consideration to strategize and manage your game.

As a special guest of the academy you will receive lunch with Trent (for Full Day schools), a bag tag, his book Golf Scrimmages, printouts of your data, the academy’s instruction manual, a video of your swing, and your personalized Game Improvement Guide.  KEEP IN MIND, advanced scheduling is definitely necessary so call or email us soon to check availability.
