We offer outstanding clinics for both men and women and with one of the best female teachers in Colorado, Ashley Tait, at Turkey Creek Golf Academy located in Morrison.  As a member of the LPGA and PGA, you’ll have a blast and see dramatic improvement with Ashley. Our clinics are structured in a small group setting and average between 3-4 students so you’ll receive the highest quality coaching with more personalized time which is what you would expect from the Trent Wearner Golf Academy.  Think of it as individual coaching in a small group setting.

More 2024 Classes COMING SOON

TURKEY CREEK:  Tuesdays, January 30 – March 26, 2024 from 5-6:15pm. This class will take place at Turkey Creek/Morrison Indoor Center.  Six weeks (non-consecutive) for 75 minutes each week for a total of 7.5 hrs of coaching.  Cost is only $800 and includes the GOLFFOREVER swing trainer and equipment.  To sign-up, please click HERE.

 

 

WHO:  Because we have such small groups it’s perfect for New Golfers and with those with Some Experience.  Think of our programs as private lessons in a small group setting.

We will only have a max of 4 students per class to keep the quality high!  And while most newer golfer programs around the country are taught by beginner teachers, you won’t find that with us! You deserve a great start to this game and that’s exactly what you’ll receive when you work with our expert coaches in our comfortable, easy-going environment.

Our Player Development Program for Adults consists of two options:  With both of the following weekly programs you’ll spend time on each area of the game while having a blast learning new skills, some basic rules and etiquette as well as some golf lingo.  (1) Welcome2Golf will take place completely at the practice facility where you’ll have a progression plan each week. (2) Welcome2Golf Course is similar but a few of your sessions will actually be spent on the golf course putting your skills to work with your coach and starting from yardages that are close to the green and moving farther away as you progress.

WHO:  Ladies who are new or relatively new

LPGA GOLF 101 is an Intro to Golf Program – taught by LPGA coach Ashley Tait the program follows the overall student-centered LPGA Integrated Performance System to guide you through a comprehensive “Welcome to Golf” 6-module program for new or relatively new female golfers.

You will take your first step in your journey to learn, play and enjoy the game of golf. Your LPGA Professional will provide you with a base of knowledge, golf skills and most importantly the confidence required to get on course.

GIRL POWER is for Intermediate Golfers and is a six-week class taught by Ashley Tait that focuses on mobility and balance while using extra ‘lever systems’ to get more distance out of your swing.

Each class includes a GOLFFOREVER warm-up and speed stick drills – physically preparing you for faster speeds while preventing injury.  We’ll also track your progress using Trackman data, focusing on three key power numbers – total distance, club head speed and attack angle.  This class is offered at a low price of $575, and is designed for intermediate golfers looking to learn more about the golf swing and who are ready to take their game to the next level!

LADIES SHORT GAME Clinic is for any skill level looking to improve their shots around the green!  If you struggle with a particular shot around the green, whether is a delicate chip, pitching the ball higher so it stops on the green or the dreaded bunker shot, we’ll be sure to address it all in this clinic!

The average female golfer’s handicap is 27.5 and that player averages hitting only 10% of the greens in regulation. That’s not even two per round. That said, yes you’d like to hit more greens but fact is, you’d be better off improving your short game from inside of 50yds as well as your putting. It’s much easier to work on and it will reduce your scores much faster!

LADIES FULL SWING Clinic is for any skill level looking to improve the consistency of their full swing shots through this four-week program!  Work on any of your clubs and strive to get some added yardage so your clubs don’t go the same distance.

SEASON OPENER BOOT CAMP:

The season is upon us!  The grass is turning green and you need to shake off the winter rust!  Time to dive in and ready yourself for the season by getting an overview of each area of your game which will give you a clearer picture of where you need to spend your time and what to work on when you get the chance to practice.   We’ll work on all areas of your game with some great people and have a blast in this 2-day class.
