Trent Wearner Golf has a comprehensive, multi-level and multi-age player development program, which is designed to develop good fundamentals, sound golf swings, improve all skills and ensure the golfer can transition their skills to the course. While junior programs around town typically consist of too many kids in a group, and unfortunately try to fit all students into a one-size-fits-all approach, ours average between 3-4 students and we tailor the coaching to the individual so we connect with all the juniors. Our coaching and programs empower the junior instead of making the junior dependent on the coach. Because of this, our nationally recognized coaches and programs are of the highest quality in Colorado.

FUNdamentals is a great low cost program to get your youngster involved with golf.  These are fun classes that will peak their interest and get their toes wet with a game that can last a lifetime!  We even have clubs for them so it’s not required that they have equipment.

WHO:  Juniors of All Ability Levels from Age 7-13 and Grouped by Age

Operation 36 is a phenomenal program we offer at Legacy Ridge and Walnut Creek that allows the junior golfer a measurable and fun way to progress!  Typically, most junior golf programs are taught by beginner teachers, but you won’t find that with us!  Your junior deserves a great start to this game and that’s exactly what they’ll receive when they work with our expert coaches in our fun, easy-going environment.  

Our OPERATION 36 Program is a weekly program where juniors will spend time on all areas of the game having a blast and seeing their skills improve PLUS they’ll have several Play Days where they’ll test their skills on the course trying to shoot a score of 36 for 9-holes from yardages starting at 25yds and then after successfully completing 9-holes from 25 yards, progressing further back to 50, then 100, then 150 and finally 200yds.  We also have some optional Skill Booster classes for your golfer to strengthen skills even further to help prepare for the 9-hole events.  Along the way they’ll improve their technique, understand some basic rules and etiquette, have a blast and be on their way to enjoying the game for a lifetime!

LPGA Girls Golf INDOOR SPRING LEAGUE

Swing, laugh, and learn—together! Our Girls Indoor Golf League at West View Recreation Center is the perfect place for young golfers to build skills, make friends, and fall in love with the game using our awesome TrackMan simulator. Each week, players will learn through games, team challenges, and on-course play in a supportive, girl-powered environment. We focus on confidence, sportsmanship, and having a ton of fun—whether your golfer is brand new or already crushing drives.

Our Week Long PGA Jr Camps are back by popular demand from last year!  These programs are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals as well as some simple rules and etiquette to get your junior off and running. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment.

Have a junior playing high school golf that wants to improve and thrives in a small group setting? This High School Program is designed for high school golfers (ages 14-18) who have some experience or consider themselves intermediate players. This is an opportunity for the junior to practice and compete with other players of a similar ability level to achieve that tournament prep they need.  We will be playing competitive practice games as well as playing mini competitions with some additional technical practice as well.  The goal of this program is to create a fun and competitive environment to help your golfer prepare for tournament golf.

2026 Class Schedule:

WALNUT CREEK:  April 30, May 14, June 6, June 15, June 29, July 6, August 2, Sept 13, Sept 27, Oct 11, 4:00-5:00. This class will meet on the Walnut Creek Putting Green. Includes games, drills and Golf Scrimmages to simulate tournament pressure.

This will include Tuesday Night 90-Minute Practices full of drills and games designed to sharpen skills in all aspects of your child’s developing golf game. Their inner competitor will shine while building relationships and having fun.
